Samuel L. Fabrocini, 88, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest on Sunday April 13, 2014 peacefully in the comfort of his home with loved ones at his side. Samuel was the beloved husband of 54 years to Angela (Campanini) Fabrocini. He was born on May 15, 1925 in West Springfield, MA the son of the late Gulermo and Filomena (Petrengi) Fabrocini. He had resided in Enfield for the past 15years and in Sprinfield, MA prior to that. Samuel served his country honorable with the Merchant Marines during W.W. II, Korea and Vietnam Wars, and went on to make a 40 year career as 1st engineer with the Merchant Marines. In his leisure time he enjoyed skiing, hiking, biking, racquet ball and was a member of Health Trax, East Longmeadow, MA.
Besides his wife Angela, Samuel is survived by his three children; Sandra O’Neill & husband Michael of Somers, Bill Fabrocini and Robert Fabrocini both of Aspen, CO, his three grandsons; Michael, O’Neill, Andrew O’Neill and Trey Fabrocini, his sister; Elsiria Brandoli along with many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may gather with his family during calling hours on Thursday April 17, 2014 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. Interment with military honors will then take place in the Massachusetts Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Agawam, MA. In lieu of flowers memorial donation in Samuel’s memory may be made to the Home and Community Health Service, Inc. Hospice Program P.O. Box 1199 Enfield, CT 06083-1199.
