Obituary for Margaret DeMaria (Harrigan)

Margaret (Harrigan) DeMaria 99 of Enfield, CT passed away August 13th 2014.
Margaret was born in Springfield Massachusetts, October 7, 1914 to the late Patrick and Hannah (Glavin) Harrigan. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Joseph L. DeMaria and daughter Donna DeMaria. She is survived by her children Joseph, Barbara, Peggy, Thomas, Bobby and his wife Giuseppina, Billy, and their spouses, and her son in law Robert McClinton. Margaret also leaves her grandchildren Kathleen DeMaria and Joey DeMaria, many nieces’ nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Margaret was also predeceased by her brothers, James and Edmund Harrigan and her sisters Mary Muskes and Rita Troge. Margaret was employed at Milton Bradley in the 1940’s prior to raising her family and again in the 1960’s after raising their seven children. A Celebration of Margaret’s life will be held on Monday August 18th with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in Holy Family Church 23 Simon Rd Enfield. There are no calling hours and Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice. Margaret’s family requests that condolences not be placed online.
