Obituary for Wanda A. Rembiesa (Samborski)

Wanda A.   Rembiesa (Samborski)
Wanda A. (Samborski) Rembiesa, of Shalimar, FL and formerly of Enfield, entered into eternal life, at the age of 98, on Sunday Aug. 17, 2014 at the Ft. Walton Beach Rehab, Ft. Walton, FL. Wanda was the widow of Leo J. Rembiesa. She was born on Sept. 16, 1915 in the Thompsonville section of Enfield to the late Frank and Antonia (Gonet) Samborski and was a lifelong resident recently moving to Florida. Prior to retiring many years ago Wanda did clerical work for the State of Connecticut Department of Corrections for 11 years. A devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother her life revolved around caring for her family and home. She was a member of St. Adalbert Church, Enfield.
Wanda is survived by her son Dennis Rembiesa & wife Suzanne of Enfield and daughter Leona Putriment & husband Benedict of Shalimar, FL, her beloved grandchildren, Scott Putriment, Laura Garrett, Mark Putriment, John Putriment, Cheryl Dow & Heather Varnet, her adored great-grandchildren, Aaron , Kyle & Jamie Putriment and Aaron & Mikayla Brink.
Wanda is also survived by a sister Jean Bugden of Enfield, along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Helen Albrecht, Aniela (Nellie) Basnikiewicz, Valerie (Bella) Zimkiewicz, Matthew Samborski and Thadeus (Teddy) Samborski.
Funeral services for Wanda will be held on Monday (Aug. 25, 2014, relatives and friends may gather with the family from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield, followed by a procession to St. Adalbert Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:30 am. Interment will take place in St. Adalbert Cemetery.
