Obituary for Cheryl Anne Crowe

Cheryl Anne Crowe
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cheryl Anne Crowe. Cheryl dedicated her life, as a social worker, to helping people with serious mental illness. Cheryl enjoyed traveling internationally with her husband; babysitting her grandsons; camping with her husband, sister, son, daughter-in-law and her grandsons and visiting her daughter and son-in-law in Cincinnati, Ohio. Cheryl was an avid reader who had a green thumb; she was a good cook, and a shopper extraordinaire. Cheryl, throughout her life, had great strength and personal courage to endure life’s challenges; she instilled in her children her strong sense of justice and deep caring for people. Cheryl is survived by her mother Christine Crowe of Natick, MA; husband James Robinson of Enfield, CT; daughter Erin Winstanley and her husband Scott Lyle of Cincinnati, OH; son Nathan Winstanley and his wife Kristin Winstanley of Waterbury, CT; brother Lee Crowe and his wife Elizabeth Crowe of Franklin, MA; sister Debra Plugis and husband John Plugis of Natick, MA and her grandsons Ethan and Brennan Winstanley of Waterbury, CT. A Memorial service for Cheryl will be held on Friday (Oct. 10, 2014) at 7 p.m. from Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. Her family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations in Cheryl’s memory may be made to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, P.O. Box 211 Avon, CT 06001.
