Obituary for Katherine J. "Kathy" Smith

Katherine J Smith 66 entered into eternal peace on Sunday January 25, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital Hartford. Kathy was born Hartford and resided in Enfield for over forty years. She was a former resident of East Windsor and attended East Windsor High School. Kathy was employed in the food industry for over fifty years. She enjoyed gardening; going to the beach, the casino, and looked forward to the Big E. Kathy was the beloved wife of seventeen years (together for thirty three years)
to Kevin J. Smith. Besides her husband she is survived by her daughter Wendy-Ann Polderman of Unionville ,Ct and her son Jayson Smith of Enfield, also survived by her sister and brother in-law Audrey & Thomas Wilson of South Windsor and her sister in-law and brother in-law Robyn and Bill Scully also
Many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Kathy will be missed by many dear friends. Funeral services will be held Friday 11:30 am at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield with Pastor Michael Coons officiating, burial will be in Springdale Cemetery East Windsor. Kathy’s family
