The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Francis Basnikiewicz can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: I met Frank at Travelers many years ago. He reached out to me several years ago and we have been together since. Attending weddings, shopping together, doing some traveling in New England for day trips, eating out at different places, antiquing, going to plays and enjoying events at Jorgensen Theater at UCONN. He so enjoyed life and loved everyone in it. He was the most generous and kind person I have ever been fortunate enough to know. I will miss him terribly. He loved me unconditionally and there will never be anyone as special as Frank. I will always love him and keep him close to my heart.
