Obituary for Mary Ann Maliszewski (Moldovan)
MaryAnn (Moldovan) Maliszewski, 88, of Enfield, entered into eternal life on Monday (Aug. 31, 2015) at Parkway Pavilion, Enfield. She was the beloved wife of 43 years to the late Rudolph Joseph Maliszewski. MaryAnn was born on September 1, 1926 in Halcottsville, NY to the late Andrew and Maria (Cebula) Moldovan. She was a graduate of Roxbury Central School, Roxbury, NY. Mary Ann had resided in Enfield for the past 53 years and in Chicopee, MA before that. Prior to retiring many years ago MaryAnn was employed with Lego, Inc. for 20 years. She was born and raised on a dairy farm in Delaware County, NY, Mary genuinely loved time spent gardening and the outdoors.
MaryAnn is survived by her children; Joseph Maliszewski and his wife Dorota of Suffield, Francis Maliszewski of South Windsor, and Catherine Maliszewski of Vernon, her cherished and beloved grandson Andrew Maliszewski. She is also survived by her sister Frances Wood and her husband Fred of Loudonville, NY along with several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by three brothers; Andrew, John and Joseph Moldovan and a sister; Anne Moldovan.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the nurses and staff at Parkway for the exceptional, compassionate and kind care given to MaryAnn.
There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial for MaryAnn will be celebrated on Thursday September 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Martha Church 214 Brainard Rd. in Enfield.
Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s King Street Cemetery, Enfield.
