Catherine M. Viveiros 90, entered into eternal rest, on Wednesday May 17, 2017 in Glastonbury. Catherine was born February 13, 1927 in Hartford, CT the daughter of the late Thomas and Hannah Cronin Garvey. Catherine was an Enfield resident for over fifty years and a communicant of St. Martha Church. Catherine loved her Irish Heritage, her catholic religion and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband James in 2012. Catherine was a loving and devoted wife and mother and is survived by her daughter Sharon Viveiros of Manchester and James “Jay” Viveiros and his wife Anne of East Windsor, her grandson Ryan Viveiros, a granddaughter Jayme Viveiros, and great grandson Declan Greer and many nieces and nephews. Catherine is also survived by a sister Mary Tarascio of East Hartford. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her brothers Thomas and John, also a sister Anna Loveland. Funeral services will be held on Monday May 22, 2017 at 9:00 AM from Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd Enfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Martha Church 214 Brainard Rd. Enfield. Burial will then take place in St. Patrick’s King St. Cemetery. Calling Hours are Sunday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Browne Memorial Chapels, Enfield.
