Obituary for Todd Scott Cote

Todd Scott  Cote
Todd Scott Cote, of Enfield passed from his earthly journey at the age of 36, on March 29, 2013. Todd was born on May 6, 1976 in Springfield, MA resided in Enfield most of his life as well as MN and WA State. He was a graduate of Fermi H.S. Enfield, Class of 1994 and also attended Franklin Pierce College. Todd was a skilled self-employed carpenter and enjoyed wood working, having made many wooden crafts, he had a passion for music and played many instruments, also enjoyed art, hiking, camping, Kayaking, traveling, animals and spending time with family and friends, Todd was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed, his girls were his pride and joy. He had been involved with the Big Brothers Program for several years.
Todd is survived by his mother; Brenda (Hanson) Cote Brouillette & husband Michael of Enfield, his father; Joseph R. Cote & companion Mirva Velez of Hartford, his daughters; Elia L. Cote and Anna T. Cote and their mother Sally Lansing of Duluth, MN, his maternal grandparents; Howard & Thelma Hanson of Enfield, his two brothers; Colin Cote of Manchester and Nathan Cote & his wife Melanie of E. Longmeadow, MA, along with his nieces & nephews, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents; Felix & Gladys Cote, an aunt; Linda Forrest, an uncle; Bob Cote and a cousin; Louise Gunderson. The family would especially like to Thank Detective Chamberland for his compassion and professional service, the Enfield Police Dept., State of CT K-9 & Fire Depts for their time & efforts in the search for Todd.
Relatives and friends may gather with his family during calling hours on Saturday (April 27, 2013) from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial and Remembrance Service with Mary Ellen Killeen officiating at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. Interment will then take place in the Hazardville Cemetery, Enfield. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Cote Children’s Educational Fund C/O United Bank 268 Hazard Ave. Enfield, CT 06082 or the CT Children’s Medical Center Brain Trauma Unit 282 Washington St. Hartford, CT 06106.
