Obituary for James S. "Jim" Cheverie III

James “Jim “S. Cheverie III, 62 entered into eternal peace, Thursday September 11, 2014 in East Hartford. Jim was born in Boston MA, June 18, 1952 the son of the late James S. and Marie (Carroll) Cheverie. He had resided in Enfield for over twenty years and then moved to East Hartford where he lived the past last twenty one. Jimmy was formerly employed in sales and marketing for multiple companies. He was a past member of the Knights of Columbus Enfield Council 50, a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 1477 East Hartford where he was a Past Governor and Administrator. He is survived by two sisters, Trish Cheverie and Marianne Wentworth both of East Hartford, CT, two nephews, Andrew Wentworth and his wife Jeylan, Matthew Wentworth, a niece, Hannah Wentworth and a great-nephew, Jameson Wentworth. Jim also leaves his life partner of nine years Siobhan Jahn. Jim’s family will receive relatives and friends at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd Enfield on Saturday from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. A Moose Ritual will be held at 11:00 AM followed by a Memorial service at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s King Street Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Assoc.
