The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Stefania "Stella" Pohorylo can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Stella's personality was something to aspire to. She volunteered for St Adalbert's at Shaker Park in the mid 1960's serving food, the hamburger tasted better with her smile as she passed a strawberry soda to me. Met her again at P&W Engineering, such an incredible upbeat person working at the blueprint files, hundreds of people knew her as that thin woman who was so happy and willing to expedite their jet engine part prints. I only hope her passage was not difficult for her and her family...

Condolence: So sorry for your loss. Stella was something else. I met her when I started at Pratt and Whitney in 1978. She was the best, the fastest and hardest worker, she just amazed me how good she was. She was the best in her group by far. Also remember bumping into her at Wendy's and we talked for a while about Pratt. I enjoyed seeing her again. Someone I will never forget.
